The North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department Station 26 is located on N Point Road. The station's equipment includes two engines, brush, utility and squad trucks, as well as a boat.
The Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc. is a volunteer staff fire and rescue crew. The town's fire company serves Bel Air and the surrounding communities to prevent fires and protect the citizens in the areas it serves. The volunteer company's board of directors is led by president Anthony P. Coliano Sr. and company meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The department is always looking for new recruits; those who are interested should call to inquire.
Providence Volunteer Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization based on Providence Road, serving Towson and the surrounding areas. Led by Captain David Smith, the company was established more than 50 years ago and offers a wide range of services to the community, including fire suppression, rescue, collapse rescue and emergency medical services. The company has all types of equipment and vehicles to assist residents, including 2 Engines, a 109' ladder truck (with rescue tools), and a flood light service vehicle, among others.
The company also offers birthday party services for children in the community and provides a fire safety presentation, use of the fire hose, a tour of the station and souvenirs for the party goers.
