LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce is an organization that seeks to advance and foster the business communities of Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista. The organization holds programs, events and services and helps member businesses advertise and build connections with other local businesses. Outreach for the coastal area community, educational programs, events and happenings are also provided and sponsored by this chamber of commerce.

The North Bay Children's Center has programs for infants to pre-kindergartners. The teacher-child ratio ranges from 3:1 to 12:1 depending upon the age. Summer programs for children 5-7 years of age are also available. It is located in the Hamilton area of Novato, next to the Novato Charter School.

Palos Verdes Art Center is  non-profit community arts organization. It is involved with local schools and pre-schools and organizes tours of exhibitions, visiting speakers and gives scholarships. Visual art classes, drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, digital arts, art history and much more is taught here, and everybody from ages 3 to 103, and of all skill levels, are welcome. Small classes are taught by artists and art educators. Private and semi-private lessons can also be arranged. Terms begin in January, April, July and September.
