Located on grounds that include a playground, a new skate park, and clean public restrooms, this YMCA allows for a lot of outdoor play. The Castro Valley Elementary YMCA is one of 46 YMCA childcare centers in the East Bay, connecting parents with a network of other East Bay parents.
The Newport Hills Swim & Tennis Club is located on four acres and provides two large, heated, six-lane swimming pools, as well as tennis courts, a wading pool, bath house, weight room, sauna, jacuzzi, playground, outdoor basketball court and banquet/meeting facilities. Aerials Fit N Fun Gymnastics Center is located in the Shoppes at Valley Forge shopping center on Schuylkill Road in Phoenixville. It offers gymnastics classes for ages 2 to adult in its state-of-the-art facilities. Classes are available all year, including after school programs and summer camps.
Tumble Kids USA offers tumbling and gymnastics programs for children ages one to 15. Operating out of a colorful gym with a soft padded floor, Tumble Kids USA features classes that range in size from one to 10 students. A competitive team program is available for older children. Sportsplex USA in Poway is a recreational facility that is open to the public and for private events such as sports leagues, tournaments and corporate events. California Spirit is a competitive cheerleading program that offers recreational and educational tools for cheerleaders. California Spirit offers a variety of programs to suit the needs of both parents and children. Its programs include cheer classes, gymnastics, tumbling and dance. During the summer, California Spirit offers camps and team training for school cheer programs. The skills learned through its events are showcased at regional and national competitions. In addition to its recreational classes, the company offers All Star competitive cheerleading and team training. California Spirit also hosts birthday parties for children.
