Owned and operated by longtime gymnastic enthusiasts and coach Peggy Simpson, Northwind Gymnastics Center is one of the states most competitive gymnastic centers in Georgia. With former world and collegiate champion coaches, the Northwind center provides a 14,000 square foot facility to accomodate athletes from age 2-18.
Annandale Boys & Girls Club is a second-generation family-run organization. In 1959 Everett G. Germaine Jr. established the club to promote youth sports in the community. Having long been a pillar for the youth in the community, it is the oldest club in the D.C. Metropolitan area. It is a wholesome forum for the youth. This location, in the heart of Annandale, is easily accessible. It is where uniforms are picked up.The club uses local fields and centers for its activities. Some games against other Northern Virgina teams require travel.
North County Soccer Park is located on Espola Rd. in Poway. The fields are used for soccer leagues ranging from adults (ages 16 and up, men's, women's and co-ed), Juniors (ages 11-17, co-ed), Pee Wee (ages 4-11, co-ed), Lil' Kickers soccer classes (ages 18 months-9 years, co-ed), and Lil Sluggers baseball classes (ages 2-6 years old). It costs $60 for each player to play on a team which plays an hour long game each week, except Lil' Kickers and Lil Sluggers which offers a 50-minute class rather than a game. All experience levels are welcome.
