The Boys and Girls Club is an inspirational alternative for many Bay Area students. The Pacifica branch offers many services that promote self-esteem and character-building, team-building exercises and sports, and recreation with kids from other cultures and areas of the city. Kids ages six through 18 are given opportunities for leadership, are treated fairly, with empathy and understanding and without judgement of past behavior. The Somerville Sports Club is a privately owned gentleman's club. The building it's in was built in 1920 and there's a kitchen area and a bar inside. The club is affiliated with some local sprots teams. Please call the club for additional details.
The Dedham Country & Polo Club features an historic 18-hole golf course, designed by Seth Raynor in 1910. Members also have access to the Club's outdoor and indoor clay tennis courts, skating rink and hockey rink. The Club also has a spacious clubhouse for dining.
The number on the gate is 1645, and that has nothing to do with the address - it's the year the prestigious Roxbury Latin School was founded. The all boys school for grades seven to 12 offers small classroom sizes, athletic teams, international volunteer opportunities through organizations like Habitat for Humanity, as well as clubs for drama, chess and more. The college-like campus grounds are immaculate.
Big Time Sports is an athletic training facility. It offers a variety of programs for athletes and individuals interested in getting in shape. These include a fitness boot camp, tennis instruction, baseball training, early childhood athletics programs and more. Students can also join the organization's travel baseball teams.
