Laguna Batting Cages & Training Center offers training and advice from professional baseball coaches who are recognized on a worldwide scale. Cape Cod Curling Club is one of the best hidden jewels of Falmouth. The clubhouse is one of the best in the Falmouth community. The viewing area has a plaid hearty tone, comfortable lounge and bar with private seating. There are monthly meetings and fundraisers from October to April.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is a non-profit organization funded entirely by grants, private donations and local businesses. Serving over 500 children daily at five locations, this club provides the youth of Sonoma with an after school program that focuses on skill building, education, and working as a team. Children also gain other skills such as arts, computer science and athletics. In business since 1970, South County Youth Soccer provides local children ages four to 19 an opportunity to enjoy the sport of soccer. The league has over 75 league teams and eight travel teams, with over 800 families involved. Games are played at Tuckertown Park, Broad Rock Elementary School and Brousseau Park, each of which are beautifully maintained. In addition to league and travel play, the association also hosts the Seaside Classic, a tournament that will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2011. A phenomenal volunteer and coaching staff makes South County Youth Soccer the ideal avenue for kids to enjoy playing soccer.
The Bragg Hill Family Life Center is a community haven for "at-risk" youth, located three blocks off Fall Hill Avenue. The center offers an after-school educational program, summer camp and various athletic activities for Bragg Hill residents. The BHFLC also offers ESL classes and senior craft classes for adults.
The Tonka United Soccer Association is a nonprofit athletic organization providing boys and girls of all ages an opportunity to engage in recreational and competitive leagues and activities. Running 10 weeks from May through mid-July, the organization sponsors matches and leagues for youths K-12, offering them the ability to grow, mature and become better citizens while engaging in friendly athletic competition.
