The Department of Community Corrections provides an alternative for non-violent offenders and, thereby, saves space in the county's Adult Detention Center. These offenders can maintain jobs, pay restitution to their victims and get counseling through programs provided by this department.

Situated on 25 acres of land, Hidden Pond Nature Center and Park is an oasis of woodlands and wildlife. The one-acre pond is home to turtles, fish, frogs and many birds, among other animals. Featuring tennis courts, a playground and a nature center, Hidden Pond Park is the perfect place to bring children of all ages. Visitors will be able to see live animal exhibits in the nature center, as well as have the opportunity to purchase items such as educational books and food. Fishing is permitted at Hidden Pond Park, but all fish caught must be released back into the pond.
The Commissioner of Revenue is one of Loudoun County's constitutional officers, who oversees the assessment and taxation of property and all subjects of taxation at fair market value. This officer is elected by Loudoun County residents.
Arlington County Government Environmental Services (DES) is located on Clarendon Boulevard, just blocks from the Court House metro station.
