Goodwill thrift stores sell previously used clothing, furniture, toys, housewares, books and more. This Goodwill location also accepts donations of clothing, household goods and more. Goodwill works to provide employment and other services for youth, seniors, veterans, immigrants, people with disabilities and those with criminal backgrounds.

Built in 2004, it boasts both new technology, such as the two Kindle's which they keep loaded with books from the New York Times bestsellers lists, and excellent facilites, including a 150 seat meeting room. Kids can enjoy not only searching for books but also enjoying the aquatic life within the 75-gallon salt water fish tank in the youth services department. The Flossmoor Public Library's living room area offers a great environment to cozy up with a book, complete with a working fireplace.
Sharing a building with Christ Community Church on Lindberg Boulevard, just West of Baptist Church Road, this small, Christian private school offers its students a "classical" education in Latin and the writings of the ancient Greeks and Romans. Math is taught in using an unusual Asian model. Its students have scored an average of 29 on their ACTs for the last five years, and the last five graduating classes have had an 100% college acceptance rate. Students take yearly trips to colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.
DLI has been the premier international trade association for garment care professionals since 1883. The association does not serve consumers onsite. Rather, DLI conducts regulatory and legislative policy development, education, professional training, information, garment analysis, research and textile testing at this location in order to help its members maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
This Jewish worship center exists on lakefront property just off of Sheridan Road in Glencoe. North Shore Congregation Israel was founded in 1920 as a branch of the Classical Reform Sinai Congregation but split with Sinai four years later. Led by Rabbi Steven S. Mason, NSCI is a progressive Jewish community that offers a place of worship and Jewish education for North Shore families. NCSI also provides a Jewish education program for children newborn through four years.
Wildlife Center of Missouri, a non-profit organization mostly run by volunteers, is a rescue center for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. Its goal is to rescue the animal, care for it and release it back into the wild if possible.
Set on a sprawling campus, the Sarasota Baptist Church provides a variety of offerings for community members, including regular services, Bible study, choir, orchestra and ministries for all ages. Sarasota Baptist provides a Parent's Morning daycare program from Tuesday through Thursday. It also hosts a dinner every Wednesday: $5 for individuals, maximum of $14 for an entire family, regardless of size.

Hunt's Memorial United Methodist Church was erected in 1874. In addition to church activities, the building is also home to the Baltimore County Historical Society.
