Established in 2000, The Missouri Foundation for Health works to improve the health of people in more than 80 counties in Missouri. The foundation identifies and addresses the unmet health care needs of underserved population. It operates the Healthy & Active Communities program, which provides funding for community-based organizations helping people at the risk of developing obesity. In addition, the Missouri Foundation for Health supports the Mental Health & Substance Abuse, as well as provides health literacy, basic support and advocacy services. The foundation also works for the prevention and treatment women who suffer from battering, sexual harassment and rape.

The award-winning Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis provides space education programs for schools, corporations, scouts, community groups and the general public. At the core of the Center are state-of-the-art space simulators, which include an orbiting space station, and a Mission Control center modeled after NASAs Johnson Space Center. The program is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an international not-for-profit education organization founded in April 1986 by the families of the astronauts tragically lost during the Challenger space shuttle mission. St. Louis location is part of a growing network of approximately 50 Challenger Learning Centers located throughout the world and serves groups throughout the Greater St. Louis area. Tasmyn Scarl Front has over 15 years experience working in informal science education where her skills and leadership of cross-departmental project teams has resulted in successful venues for over 50 national and international traveling exhibitions and several permanent exhibitions. Prior to coming to St. Louis, she was the Senior Manager of Exhibit Projects at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California and served as the Exhibit Projects Manager at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois. Tasmyn graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Industrial Design. Robert Powell is the Education Coordinator for the Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis and is responsible for all education programs beyond the simulated space missions. Robert has 20 years of experience in informal science education. He has always considered himself a lifelong learning and loves sharing his passion for science and math with others. Robert graduated with a B.S. in matehmatics at North Carolina Central University. Heidi Lung is the Lead Flight Director for the Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis. Heidis main responsiblites include simulator operations and scheduling. Heidi has over 10 years of expereince as an informal educator with experience in managing all stages of educational programs. She has a B.A., M.A., and Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education. Chapel of The Cross is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. It offers Sunday services at 8am and 10:45am. The store features clothing for men, women and children, along with a vast selection of furniture, small appliances, household goods, toys and decorations. St. Vincent De Paul serves nonprofit organizations in the community by providing programs and services that give clients the tools and support to be self-sufficient. 

The thirft shop is located in the Regency Square Shopping Center, next to the Dollar Tree. Donations are gladly accepted. Free pick-up and delivery is available.

Formerly a military chapel, St. Luke's moved from Jefferson Barracks to its current location in 1941. Led by Pastor Ann Mowery, the church has several organizations in its 200 member congregation. Quilting, prayer shawls and a choir and bells program meet in the church.  St. Luke's also lends its facilities out to youth sports teams and AA meetings. To give back to the community, it supports "Meals on Wheels" and started a "Community Blitz" program. Volunteers winterize and complete minor repairs for the Lemay Housing Organization. The church also has a charity resale shop, open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Friedens United Church of Christ can be reached by South Old Highway 94 or from Zumbehl Road. This church has been housing the Friedens UCC congregation since 1962, but it has been serving the community of St. Charles now for over 175 years. There is also a small cemetery adjacent the church with graves dating back many decades.

This church is led by Pastor Doug Kaufman and holds Sunday services at 8:30am and 11am, as well as Sunday School at 9:45am.
