Gulf Gate Church is a Christian church located in Gulf Gate that offers services every Sunday at 9:30am. The church also offers age-appropriate worship in the "KidZone" weekly during Sunday service.

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch Opportunity Store is a non-profit charitable organization thrift store with a very large selection of thrift store items. It has indoor/outdoor furniture, musical instruments, books, housewares and wide array of adult and children clothes. The store also sells plenty of unique, hard to find items as well. The proceeds go to help the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch all over Florida.
The Volunteer Way is a faith-based nonprofit that collects six and a half million pounds of food annually for those in need. Led by Chief Executive Officer Lester Cypher, the group runs a food bank and support services for those in need of financial assistance. In addition to its food bank, it offers a brown bag program for low-income, homebound and disabled seniors, a hydroponic farm, and a new shelter in the Moon Lake subdivision. While based in New Port Richey, its services extend far beyond county lines to help people in surrounding counties.
The Brandon Elks Lodge supports the community. It provides school supplies for children, food donations and awards scholarships. It holds fundraising events and gives the proceeds to veterans.
It also has a ladies' organization that supports many charities in the area. It gives scholarships yearly, sends children to the Florida Elks Camp and provides food gift certificates to families at the holidays.
