Founded in 1982, Elyria Christian School is independent and nondenominational. Located in McPherson, Kan., its facilities include 16 classrooms, computer lab, art room, library, choir/band room, a gymnasium, a lunch room and learning center. The school arranges numerous activities that include art fair, chapels, drama presentation, fall retreat, homecoming and math competition, to name a few. Elyria Christian School also conducts sports, such as basketball, soccer and tennis. The school is a member of the Kansas State High School Activities Association, and is Association of Christian Schools International accredited.
