The Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center provides fitness and recreation facilities. It is a part of the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation, which is managed by the Washtenaw County in Michigan. The recreation center offers a wide range of amenities, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, a running track and locker rooms. It also offers a variety of fitness equipments, such as stationary bikes, treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, weight circuit stations and hand weights. The center conducts fitness, dance and swimming classes. Additionally, it offers summer camp programs for children. Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center was established in 1991 and is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.

This park is complete with a large wooden play structure for kids, a pavilion that is available for rentals and gazebo. There are also a variety of athletic fields including numerous soccer fields and four baseball fields. The historic Howarth Schoolhouse and Porritt Barn sit on the park's property. Park programs including yoga and summer camps take place here as well.

The Macomb Township Recreation Center is a 90,000-square-foot facility just off 25 Mile Road open to both residents and non-residents for a per visit or monthly fee. The host of numerous community events such as the Tree Lighting and Halloween Hoopla, the center is also a state-of-the-art fitness facility. Opening in 2004 and completing its expansion in 2007, the center now boasts two full gyms, two aerobic dance studios, 64 cardio machines, a 7/10 mile walking track, two party rooms, game room, indoor playscape, child watch room, weight room and pool area. The workout room is home to 20 flatscreen TVs and the pool includes a lazy river, jacuzzi, children's playscape, water slide and changing rooms. Numerous programs and fitness classes offered through the Macomb Township Parks and Recreation Department are held at the center and rooms are available for private parties.
