The Unitarian Society of New Haven is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association and welcomes all regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation. The church is based in both Jewish and Christian teachings.
The three services at Christ Episcopal Church offer worship that runs the gamut from traditional to radical. The church school is excellent and meets the needs of children from ages 3 to 15. The congregation reaches out to others both locally and around the world, while the church's home base is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in Connecticut.
Bethany First Church of Christ is a classic New England church in both style and sense of community. It is a meetinghouse with a long history in town. As part of the United Church of Christ it is an inclusive and welcoming place with a mix of ages and backgrounds. The best word to describe the atmosphere is "caring." The style of worship is relaxed but meaningful.
