The Christian Science Reading Room of Milford is located on the northwest side of the Oval. The Reading Room is a quiet and spiritual place of study open to the entire community. It offers a selection of literature from Christian Science Publishing Society which can be read, borrowed or purchased. It is maintained by the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Milford.

Lane Memorial Library carries books, CDs and DVDs for loan and houses framed art prints. Computers are available and the library offers free Wi-Fi access.
