Contra Costa County Farm Bureau is a county-wide collective. The group provides farm owners and companies access to a series of insurance packages, benefits, lines of credit and more.
The Napa County Farm Bureau is a non-profit, non-governmental agency of volunteer members and supporters who are committed to promoting agriculture in the Napa Valley. Its goals, policies and programs focus on farming, ranching and preservation of land for agricultural purposes, and include a sustainability philosophy. Arising out of the early Grange organizations early in the 20th century, the organization is part of the California Farm Bureau Federation.
The Farm Bureau, a charitable and potitical group, serves growers in Santa Cruz and northern Monterey counties and also acts as a clearinghouse of information for the public. The organization also offers scholarships, holds poster and poetry contests for kids, and hosts National Agriculture Day in March and the Down to Earth Women's Luncheon in May. A board of directors leads the bureau.
The Sacramento County Farm Bureau provides lobbying services for local farmers in the area. The office specializes in making issues heard as well as providing a regular resource for updates about farming laws.
