The Register of Wills records all wills and other legal documents needed to administer a person's estate. The office is also a resource for genealogists. More than 300 years of Bucks County family history has been preserved, digitized and indexed for easy searching in the office's Archive Research Center.
The Coroner's Office is housed inside the Northampton County Courthouse, on the corner of Washington Street and North 7th Street. It is the duty of this office to report on sudden, violent and unattended deaths in the county and they also issue death certificates.
Part of the county's finance department, this division is charged with determining the current market value of all real estate properties in the county. The resulting assessment directly affects how much property tax the property owner pays.
The Port Authority has four stops in Dormont, including two stations, Potomac at Broadway and Potomac Avenues and Dormont Junction, near West Liberty Ave. and McFarland Road. These stations offer bike racks, seating and are ADA accessible. Potomac has 22 park and ride spots, Dormont Junction and has 163, Stevenson along Broadway Ave. between LaSalle Ave., and Edgeville Street and Kelton at Kelton Ave. All are street level stops with street parking. It provides service between downtown Pittsburgh and other South Hills communities.
Located in suite 310 of the government services building, the Chester County Department of Children, Youth and Family aims to strengthen a families ability to provide safety and well-being to a child through social services. The department sees the family unit as the best means to provide for the needs of a child, but they intervene when those needs cannot be met by the family, neighbors or community. Keith Hayes is the director of the Department of Children, Youth and Family.
The courthouse is the heart of Bucks County's government and its court system. Three courthouse buildings have occupied the triangle of land at Doylestown's Court and Main streets since 1813. Opened in phases from 1960 to 1962, the current courthouse is home to a rectangular wing, which houses the county's administrative offices, and a circular wing, which houses courtrooms and court offices.

Chester County Drug and Alcohol Services was founded in 1972 as a way to plan, implement and monitor local addiction prevention throughout the county. Since 1980 it has worked as an independent agency to plan and coordinate services needed to residents. Kim P. Bowman is the director of Chester County Drug and Alcohol Services, and the office is located in suite 325.
This historical site was buildt in 1752 for John Potts, ironmaster and founder of Pottstown. The mansion has been restored to give visitors a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Potts family and the colonial American time period. Pottsgrove Manor hosts educational demonstrations and programs and displays numerous artifacts from the time period. Group trips are welcome.
The Clerk of Courts handles a wide range of court-related administrative tasks. The office also collects court costs, fees, fines and restitution payments. Bail can be posted at the Clerk of Courts office during regular business hours.

Comprehensive geriatric assessments determine whether people require housing in a long-term care facility or if they are capable of living on their own.
