The Woodlands Foundation is a camp complex designed for a variety of programs for people with disability or chronic illness of all ages. The complex for several buildings and activity areas. Some of the programs are summer camps, weekend retreats, music, sports and arts programs, wellness classes, golf on the region's only accessible, par-3 golf course.

The Abington Free Library is the largest library and the most visited library in the Montgomery County Library and Information Network Consortium (MCLINC), which comprises more than 30 libraries. It employs 65 people and has more than 100 volunteers. The library has an extensive children's book collection on the lower level, as well as more than a dozen computers and a room for lectures and presentations.
Mt. Airy, USA is a nonprofit community development corporation that serves Mount Airy residents. It assists first-time home buyers and helps small businesses, and its primary goal is to encourage economic development. It is governed by a 27-member Board of Directors and also has a full-time staff. Mt. Airy, USA also offers internships for those interested in community development and accepts volunteers. Life Christian Fellowship is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, which was founded in 1914. Life Christian Fellowship offers Sunday Services at 9:30 (for 1 hour) and 11am for an hour and 15 minutes. It also provides infant, toddler and children's care. Friday night is Family Life Night beginning at 7pm, and it provides Adult LIFE Group, C4 Youth, Pioneer Clubs and Loving Childcare. Life Christian Fellowship also has a daycare center, Life Discovery School, which is great for children ages 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten.
Pastor Reverend Walter J. Wilkins, PhD, presides over Trinity Presbyterian Church in Berwyn. Trinity has expanded it nursery school and is accepting applications for registration.
Alcoholics Anonymous conducts weekly evening seminars at Trinity's facilities. A Praise Band accompanies Sunday morning worship, and recently a dance ensemble was added, giving a creative way in which to worship. There are video recordings of Sunday worship that can be viewed on Comcast Cable TV Channel 2.
Montgomery County SPCA is a nonprofit organization that cares for and takes in unwanted, lost and abused animals. Established in 1909, the organization specializes in dogs and cats. It accepts donations and is open six days a week.
Bethany United Methodist Church is a growing and dynamic congregation. Its roots date to the 1800s, but more recent history has involved three area churches combining under one roof along Brookside Road in 1967. Membership has exploded, requiring expansion in 2009 to include a Catasauqua campus. The most recent excitement involved groundbreaking early in 2010 on an additional campus. Site completion is expected in December 2012. Completion will bring the number of campuses to three.
Led by Revered Benjamin J. Black, the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church provides a large, welcoming congregation that aims to positively involve itself in the community. A very active church, there are many special events going on including charity fundraisers and musical entertainment. There is a nursery available for young children during church services. Upper Dublin Evangelical Luthern Church has been a place of worship in the Ambler community for more 250 years. Over time the church's mission has developed into being an inviting place to practice faith, leading to the church's motto, "A Welcome Place." A congregation of roughly 360 meets during one of three Sunday worship times at 7:45, 9 and 10:30am. During services, a Sunday nursery and school is available. The church also runs a number of youth, music and mission programs, in addition to study groups and other services. The church also enjoys the use of a playground and multi-purpose room.
