Mt. Nebo United Presbyterian Church is an important part of the Wexford area's religious life. It assists its members with religious services, counseling and various events throughout the year. It also has a youth program and Sunday school.

Ward Home educates at-risk young adults in practical life skills so they can live independently as effective, contributing members of the community. The Home operates three living facilities, for teen girls, teen boys and teen parents, and it offers a variety of programs.
Zion Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Ambler community since its founding in 1895. Zion has been at its current location since 1925, during which the building was expanded and updated several times to account for the growing congregation. Today, the building features a number of modern additions, such as an elevator, public address system and multimedia center. Zion Baptist holds two Sunday services, at 7:30am and 10:45am. The church also holds a mid-week prayer on Wednesdays, and a number of Bible studies and suppers throughout the week.
Pastor Daniel Peters' sermons can be heard on WFIL AM 560 at 11:30am on Sundays. There is a kid's club every Sunday night for children to play games, listen to music and learn about the Bible. On Sundays, Limerick offers a morning worship and evening service, and childcare is provided.
Clem Macrone Park is located on Conestoga Road in Bryn Mawr. It is a 9-acre park, open to the public, with ample parking available. Amenities include a "tot lot" playground with picnic tables and benches, a basketball court, tennis court and public restrooms. The park is open daily, from dawn until dusk.
Cranberry Public Library is located in the municipal building and offers a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs and audio books. The facility features sections for children, teens and adults. St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church is located along Siebert Road near the McKnight retail shopping corridor. The Rev. John R. Rushofsky is the pastor. There are nearly 8,000 registered parishioners from over 3,000 North Hills households. The church campus also features a parochial K-8 school that includes a gymnasium. Its mission is to "joyfully meet the needs of others through Christian service in a welcoming community."
Congregaation Beth Or is a thriving Jewish community center, educational facility and synagogue. The center has been in existence for 55 years and has a mission to help foster an excellent lifestyle for its members. This includes offering infant care, pre-school and kindergarten; facilities such as a library, banquet rooms and multipurpose rooms; a 500-person-capacity chapel; and a number of programs for the elderly such as a lifelong learning service.
