The Long Branch Free Public Library is located at 328 Broadway in Long Branch, right next to the police department and city hall. The library has an extremely large collection of books, movies, audiobooks and music CDs. It offers several programs and clubs for children, teens and adults. It also offers free meeting room space, a literacy program, and computer classes. Another interesting feature of the library is the Outspoken Library kiosk which offers free services for the hard of hearing, or sight or mentally-impaired.

The purpose of Alpha And Omega Hands Inc. is to combat & assist in the relief of poverty, distress and BASIC wants suffer by children/students nationally and internationally by providing food, clothing, toys, books, and any other supplies use regularly, which aids daily in their overall development and survival. Our activities are: making a monthly/bimonthly relief effort to give children/students a sense of hope and care with supplies and activities that every child should have as a person. Doing motivational speeches, talent shows, art & crafts, carnivals, fun day, field trips, book clubs, health/exercise programs that also include the community members. Doing activities that the children/students always wanted to do. Our Mission is to inspire in children the art of giving and sharing the things we have and never had, teaching to love humanity and embracing the motherly nature within us, by showing kindness and empowerment to each other. Since 1999, the program has been helping New Jersey schools, churches, Boy Scouts and other organizations raise money by setting up clothing drives where people can donate usable and wearable clothing, shoes, household items and more. Fashion Republic then buys the merchandise from the organization behind the drive.
