St. Nicholas Orthodox Church is a small, but intimate group of people who open their arms and welcome newcomers. The church has a rich history spanning more than 50 years. Through its outreach program, the church runs an Orthodox Food Center, an emergency food pantry, as well as supporting the Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Tougas Family Farm is owned and operated by Maurice and Phyllis Tougas and their grown children. They grow fruit primarily for customer harvest, starting with strawberries in June, and then cherries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, raspberries, apples and finally pumpkins in September and October. School tours are also available.
The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury focuses on bringing its members together through worship every Sunday. The congregation is involved in many outreach programs, helping the homeless locally and nationally. It also offers many educational programs for youth, women and all members of the church society.
Grace Baptist Church aims to share Jesus Christ with parishioners from all walks of life. Offering a variety of study groups, the church is committed to educating its members with the Word of God. Grace Baptist also has a music program and children's programs that spread its ministry.
This large Episcopal church has an active staff and congregation. The parish belongs to the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts and is also part of the Anglican Communion Worldwide, which is a collection of churches devoted to preserving the historic Protestant faith.
