The Sunshine House provides specialized education programs for children who are between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. The curriculum is centered around the individual child, and the classrooms and playgrounds emphasize security, safety and cleanliness. The school has been operating for the last 35 years.
Chartered in 1940, The Tucker Masonic Lodge No. 42 is a place where the community can learn more about this fraternal organization. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. The Bible Training Centre for Pastors is an international ministry that trains men who act as pastors or are church leaders in theology. The program reaches more than 80 countires. The school's non-formal environment encourages interaction during lectures and discussions.

Commonly known as the Rec Center, this busy place has something for everyone: pottery, yoga, karate, dance, gymnastics, art, as well as a playground and picnic area. A former school, the building and grounds cover 10 acres. The Browning Courthouse, a small wooden structure dating from 1860, has been relocated to the center.
Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church has been serving the Tucker area since 1962. Rev. Kathy McFarland is the 14th pastor to lead the congregation, which offers Sunday school followed by worship services every Sunday morning.
LRUMC is steeped in ministry and mission traditions. "Music for Missions" has been a staple at the church since 1998 and has raised over $45,000 from 97 free concerts to benefit more than 42 charities. An annual three-day mission trip to Jonesville, VA assists in home repairs for the needy.

Communion service is held the first Sunday of each month; Chi-Alpha meets every Thursday evening from 7pm - 9:30pm.
Vedanta is a meditational practice that holds that people can be pure, perfect, blissful, omniscient, omnipotent and divine. This chapel was completed in 2006 and was directed by Swami Brahmavidyananda until his return to California in 2010. The appointment of a new monk is pending.

This 114-acre park in the middle of Tucker is a great place to take the family, given the diversity of outdoor activities. There is kayaking, bike and nature trails, playgrounds, and you can fish in Lake Erin or feed the ducks. You can also play baseball or tennis, but its most significant sports component is the Tucker Youth Soccer Association. There are two entrances to the park: The Henderson Road address gives access to the soccer fields, and the Livsey Road entrance is for the larger portion that includes the lake and playgrounds.
Living Grace Lutheran Church was born in 2004 with the merger of two local congregations, St. Matthew's and St. Michael's. The modern worship center welcomes everyone for Sunday morning services at 8:30 and 10:30, led by The Rev. David E. Hardy. The church is behind the BB&T bank at the corner of Cooledge and Lawrenceville Highway.
