Drive past the unassuming, red brick signage and groomed shrubs down a lovely private road that passes the 18-hole golf course (with its trademark bear claw sand trap) and you'll find yourself at the clubhouse of Bear Creek Country Club. Bear Creek is a members-only club and members have access to a number of amenities including a golf shop, locker room, practice range, fitness room, lounge and restaurant. Non-members are invited to host special events as Bear Creek Country Club and to take advantage of the full-service catering that Bear Creek is proud to provide.
The Overlake Golf & Country Club offers members a variety of experiences. There are two levels of membership. The social membership includes access to the dining room, pool, tennis courts and other amenities. The golf membership includes all the social membership advantages as well as access to the golf course. There is golf cart storage, club storage and a pro shop on-site. In addition to the dining room, which has a beautiful view of the golf course, there is a more casual gathering place in the clubhouse. Members can book the facilities for weddings, business meetings, reunions and other social events. Gourmet catering is available. The website provides comprehensive information.
The Kirkland Fraternal Order of Eagles is a private club, part of a national network. The focus is on community service and fun. Many local charities benefit from the fund-raising efforts, including the Boys and Girls Club, Fred Hutchison Cancer Center and Hope Link.
The lounge is open in the evenings, and the restaurant is open Fridays and during special events such as the Saint Patrick's Day party. Fundraiser breakfast and dinners as well as other events are held throughout the year.
