The O'Kelly Memorial Library is part of the Uncle Remus Regional Library System and a member of PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services), a network of more than 250 public libraries in Georgia. Library members have access to collections beyond those in the Loganville area.

This government office maintains the county's voter registration records and operates all polling locations. This office is the overseeing body for elections on all levels of government, from the municipal to federal. The office of Voter Registration and Elections is located in the same building as the Dekalb County Tax Commissioner and office of motor vehicle registration.

It is one of eight federal veterans medical centers located in the southeast.
Located between Sugarloaf Parkway and Scenic Highway, Alexander Park is a popular walking spot in the neighborhood. It features almost one-and-a-half miles of walking trails. There is also a horseshoe pit, chess tables and an eighteen-hole disc golf course.

The Holly Springs Municipal Court moved to its present location November 2004, and meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 10 am for hearings. The court is located in the Holly Springs Public Safety Building.

The Marietta Fire Museum, located in the Fire and Rescue headquarters at Fire Station No. 1, showcases uniforms, equipment and vehicles city firefighters used as far back as the 1800s.
The free museum includes an 1879 Silsby Steamer, a 1921 American LaFrance pumper, a 1929 Seagrave pumper, a 1949 Pirsch ladder truck and a 1952 Chevrolet panel truck as well as antique helmets and firefighting apparatus. The museum also features the department's "Wall of Flame" with photos dating back to the 1800s.
