Wake Christian Academy, established in 1956 and located in Raleigh, N.C., is a private, nonprofit institution that provides a variety of academic and extracurricular programs to students. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, Bible studies, literature, science, social studies, history, government, mathematics and physical education. It also provides lectures in grammar and language, vocabulary, literature fundamentals, reading and writing. The school organizes drama and plays that includes Romeo and Juliet. It additionally organizes programs that include literary analysis of poetry, and nonfiction, fiction and drama classes. It also provides classes in writing instruction, character analysis and essay writing.
