Located in Salt Lake City, Utah Youth Village specializes in residential care services. It also provides educational grants, parenting classes and therapy services for troubled, neglected and abused children and youth. Founded in 1969, the organization is approved by the Teaching-Family Association. It operates more than 50 treatment foster homes for children in the age group of 2 to 18 years. The organization also operates group homes for teenage boys and girls. Its treatment foster homes focus on the development of independent living and family interactive skills. The organization conducts training classes on academic success and sexual abuse. Additionally, Utah Youth Village conducts fundraisers, fashion shows and award ceremonies.
