The Rathbun Regional Water Association, based in Centerville, Iowa, is an organization that provides water to more than 15,000 rural families, farms and communities. The organization operates a water treatment plant, service center, maintenance buildings, elevated storage tanks and pumping stations. It also maintains a pipeline of 6,500 miles. Its treatment plant can process more than 8 million gallons of water per day. The association s service area also includes rural water districts in Putnam, Mercer and Schuyler counties in Missouri.
