Zymet Animal Hospital has been helping pets in need for more than 40 years. It can be found near the corner of North Highland and Rockledge, across the street from the Arcadian Shopping Center. The SPCA of Westchester is a humane society that was founded in 1883 and is still located on its original site in Briarcliff Manor. The SPCA provides a shelter for cats and dogs, has a computerized lost and found database and offers pet adoptions. On site is their Simpson Spay/Neuter Clinic which provides reduced-cost surgery, vaccinations and various treatments.
