Sanatan Mandir is a Hindu temple that serves the religious, cultural and educational needs of the Fiji-Indian community in the area. The temple, which has been in San Bruno since 1986, has a small number of members but hosts several religous ceremonies every year that draw Fiji-Indian families from all over the Bay Area.
Hindu Mandir is the only Hindu temple throughout the Chicagoland area representing all major Hindu Dieties. The temple serves approximately 1,500 families. All are welcome to the temple which provides services in the traditional Hindu style. It was built in 2007 to promote inter-religious, social and cultural understanding. Members also support humanitarian causes.
Study groups from various area schools and colleges are also welcome to visit; call ahead to schedule.
