Providing educational leadership and services that promote equal educational opportunities and quality practices and programs, which enable New Hampshire residents to become fully productive members of society has long been the mission of the State's Education Department. With beautiful office buildings centrally situated in the old State Hospital grounds, the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHDOE) creates and facilitates a multitude of programs and services for students, educators and communities across the state. NHDOE strives to meet the educational needs of students, from preschoolers to those pursuing advanced degrees.
