The Portuguese American Athletic Club, located near the intersection of Follett Street and Warren Avenue, is a home-away-from-home for members of the Portuguese-American community. The cozy club's interior, outfitted with a full-sized bar and billiards and card tables for domino matches, offers guests the opportunity for fun and camaraderie. During weekdays, Portuguese lunch specialties are served such as Kale Soup and Bacalhau, the Portuguese-style codfish dish.
East Providence Athletic Club is a private social club established in 1923. There is a pool table, a TV with sports often playing, and plenty of alcohol. It is not currently accepting new members.
Cranston National Budlong Little League is a baseball/softball youth league. Both boys and girls are able to play in T-ball, minor and major leagues. Games are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, while practices take place all week. There are three manicured ball fields and a well-stocked snack bar that accepts cash only. There are bleachers for spectators, but most people bring their own chairs.
