The New Jersey State Youth Soccer Association is the organizational hub for youth soccer programs at all levels. It is responsible for the state's Olympic Development Program, the State Championships and a number of recreational and outreach programs. It organizes coaching education programs and administers travel and recreational tournaments in the state. It is a member of the United States Soccer Federation and the United States Youth Soccer Association.
Matawan Aberdeen Babe Ruth League is home to numerous youth teams with players that range in age from 7 to 15. There are games and tournaments that run through spring, summer and fall. In 2010, the Matawan Aberdeen Babe Ruth League's 11-Year Olds were crowned North Jersey State Champs.
Berkeley Youth Football & Cheer is a youth football and cheer organization. It features football divisions based on age, including tackle football and flag football. The eight-week season begins in July and also features a cheerleader program.
Hazlet Youth Athletic League (HYAL) provides sports league programs for many sports. HYAL is a recreation sports league for children to the age of 13. They are competitive and send their teams to state and national tournaments. Their teams have won many first place finishes in many sports. Their sports teams currently include baseball, softball, basketball, football, wrestling and cheer. They have their own baseball stadium and foodball field on Hazlet Avenue. Sign-up fliers are made available to students at school or on their website.
The Isle Golf Course is located on the prestigious Trump National Golf Club, a private 18-hole golf course and resort located in Colts Neck, New Jersey.
Formerly a separate private course named Shadow Isle Golf Club, Isle is accessible only to members of Trump National Golf Club.
East Windsor Police Athletic League is a nonprofit organization that offers youth athletic opportunities. The organization provides children ages five to 18 with supervised athletic activities, including little league baseball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse and summer camps. The league, which is sponsored by East Windsor PBA Local 19, has a current enrollment of more than 3,000 children.
The Twin Rivers Community Center, located directly across from the Mercer County Library behind the Twin Rivers Shopping Center, is managed by the Twin Rivers Community Trust. The facility includes baseball fields, tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground and three pools. The largest pool is heated. Inside the Center are the community rooms, which typically host themed community parties and events for kids and are available for private parties.
The Spring Dale Golf Club is a private men and women’s golf club, which has operated since 1895. It has a driving range, s golf shop, as well as a full course. The course itself passes through the Princeton University Campus. The club house is off Alexander Road. This is a member’s only facility, so any interested parties need to apply for membership at the Club House office.
Rider University is home to the Broncs. This NCAA Division-1 program competes in a combined 18 different men's and women's sports. Maps, short for Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer, manages soccer leagues that serve youth and adults of all ages. There is a free program called Soccer for All ran by the MSSL foundation, which provides free soccer development and play for those with special needs. Maps-Mssl also manages tournaments throughout the year, college showcases, futsal, and recreational programs. There are also soccer classes, fitness classes and dance classes.
