Bennett Family Park is a set of five community youth baseball and softball fields. For more than fifty years, Bennett Family Park has offered tournament quality facilities for Minnetonka teams like Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. Besides the ball fields, the large privately owned compound features a jungle gym, picnic area, shelter with bathrooms and changing facilities and a concession stand which offers hot and cold options. Bennett Family Park's newest addition is the new "Miracle League" field. This is a handicap accessible baseball field for players with special abilities.
The Metro Baseball League is a non-profit organization that manages travelling baseball tournaments and a baseball league for boys ages 10-15. Teams from 60 to 65 Minnesota and Wisconsin communities enter their teams into the league from as far east as Menomonie, Wisc. and as far west as Glencoe, Minn.
Formerly located at 151 W. Burnsville Parkway, the Metro Baseball League moves to its new facility in January, 2011 and will re-open then.
The Woodbury Area Hockey Club is a hockey league and instruction organization providing activities for boys and girls in the community. It participates in games, tournaments and offers player development and clinics. Teams are separated by age and include Mites, Supermites, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam, Junior Gold, and Girls teams as well as a Learn to Skate program.
