Malone Stadium is a stadium located in Monroe, Louisiana on the campus of the University of Louisiana – Monroe. Malone Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Louisiana Warhawks. The stadium opened under its current name on September 16, 1978 with the construction taking just over one year at a cost of just over $2.5 million, $8.9 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 1993, which added over 8,000 seats.

The Louisiana Warhawks are members of the Sun Belt Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association.  They are known by their team colors consisting of maroon and gold. Their mascot is Ace the Warhawk.

The stadium currently holds 30,427 fans. Currently, it is the 103rd largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 31,175 occurred on September 21, 2012 against Baylor. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.

Season tickets are available with prices starting around $150. Individual tickets start at about $15 depending on the game. Tickets are available through the team website and ticket exchanges.

In 1968, the Saints two-year record of 7-20-1 was best ever for an expansion club. With five post-season appearances since the franchise began, the Saints won their first post-season game in 2000 against the St. Louis Rams with a final score of 31-28. Independence Park Theatre and Cultural Center, founded in 2001, is a recreational center offering theater classes, camps, and performances. The center has been host to hundreds of events, including concerts, plays, musicals, dance recitals, lectures, graduations, seminars, workshops, conferences and pageants. Its proscenium theatre has a seating capacity of up to 800 with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment. It also has two smaller conference rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 100 people, as well as a space to hold banquets for up to 200 people. The theatre is available for rent by public and private schools, community organizations, corporations and individuals with discounted rates for nonprofit organizations. The Louisiana Art and Artists Guild Gallery, located at IPT, hosts a number of art exhibits throughout the year. The centers film series showcases plays that have been adapted to the medium of cinema. It is located in Baton Rouge, La.
