The Greenwich Family YMCA is located in the large historic brick building on the corner of East Putnam Ave and Main Street. Built in 1916 with the generous donations from Rebecca Witherell, the Greenwich YMCA offers its members a fully-equipped free-weight center, wellness center with over 70 training machines, men's and women's locker rooms, sauna and steam rooms, a 50-meter Olympic sized pool and a gymnasium. In addition, the YMCA offers a variety of children and adult programs including summer camp, childcare programs, personal  training and aerobic classes. Southington Southern Little League, also known as the Recreation Park of Southington, is a 37.6 acre park that welcomes athletes of all backgrounds. 

In addition to little league fields, the facility features 2 lighted softball, football, baseball and soccer fields. The park also has restrooms open and available to the public, concession stands, picnic groves, a bocce court, a duck pond, changing rooms and a playground. 

Parents interested in signing their little leaguer up for a season are asked to contact the town of Southington for more information.

The Greenwich Polo Club has served the Northeast area since its inception in 1981.  The club plays host to numerous USPA high-goal polo matches on Sundays in June, July and September. Its corporate offices are located on the third floor of the professional building at 80 Field Point Road.

Come visit the Stamford Y in its newly renovated location which opened in March 2010. Renovations included the pool, women's/men's locker rooms, and the addition of boys/girls locker rooms. Even in selling its lodging to the neighboring hotel, the Stamford Y is still one of the largest Ys in Connecticut and still offers a vast amount of programs for all ages, including adult sports leagues, children's sports and summer camps, swimming lessons, personal training, a cardio/weight room and more. The facility's entrance is on Bell Street, and parking vouchers for garages are available.

Located on Mix Avenue, Louis Astorino Ice Rink is a competition size ice rink and home of Hamden High School Hockey, Hamden Youth Hockey and the Hamden Figure Skating Association. It also offers public skating sessions and has a pro shop, which sells and rents skates and other equiptment. Louis Astorino Ice Rink has a concession stand selling drinks and snacks, and also has several outdoor seasonal tennis courts.
