The Hastings Family Aquatic Center is an outdoor water park, located in Hastings, Minn. It features a lap pool, lily pad crossing and water slides. The park also consists of an area with various play features, such as a more than 200 feet body slide and diving board. The Hastings Family Aquatic Center provides swimming lessons and water aerobic sessions throughout the summer season. In addition, it has a concession stand that sells several items, including beverages, pizzas, nachos, mini donuts, candies and ice cream treats. The park is a part of the Hastings Parks and Recreation Department, which oversees over 30 parks and maintains nearly 25 miles of trails throughout the city. The department s staff works in collaboration with various youth and adult athletic associations.
