The spacious, modern and clean facility offers Pro Style Batting Tunnels and a host of services, equipment and special features. This facility is the only batting center equipped with the Virtual Pitcher for baseball and softball which is unique in the United States. The center is complete with "pro turf" carpet and a stadium-quality lighting system.
At the center's pro shop, players can choose from a wide selection of equipment and make the best choice with the help of the onsite equipment specialists. BB's Pro Shop is staffed by coaches, former or current players from all levels, including pros. Group and private instruction are available, and birthday parties and special events are welcome fun at the Bergen Batting Center.
Universal Fitness Equipment is located just outside of Red Bank, over the Navesink River, on the northbound side of Route 35. It specializes in exercise equipment and accesories and carries everything from kettle bells and weights to bikes and treadmills. It also offers repair services.
Grand Rental Station is rental shop that offers customers everything from party supplies to construction rental equipment. Located on Bloomfield Ave., party rentals include tents and bars. It also has DJ equipment and fog machines
The Peddler sells a selection of bicycles and accessories. It also offers bicycle repairs and tune-ups. Bike brands sold include Cannondale Bicycles, Jamis Bikes, Electra Bicycles, Seven Cycles and Pinarello.
DJ's Cyles has been in Long Branch for 37 years. Owner Dennis Fahey makes sure that each customer is fitted with the correct bike before purchase. In addition to bicyles it carries fitness and bicycle accessories. Bicyles repairs are done on premises. Rentals are available for cycling along the beachfront.
