In 1985, during the infancy of desktop computers and design, Nick Topitzes was looking for a way to print nametags for meetings and conferences with his computer and printer. Unfortunately, at that time, no such software existed. Topitzes worked with software writers to develop pc/nametag, the first software package of its kind.
