This school strives to provide quality educational programs in a safe, nurturing environment. The school offers a number of clubs and programs to enhance students' learning experiences. East has a theatre program and a fine arts curriculum.
Formerly a middle school, Warner Upper Elementary School now serves students in grades 5 and 6. Warner meets Annual Yearly Progress standards established by the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, and received an "A" on its State of Michigan composite report card. Faculty, staff and the school community are committed to their mission of providing each student with "a safe, supportive and engaging environment, diverse education emphasizing excellence in achievement, and skills enabling them to become self-sufficient and respectful citizens who contribute responsibly to the world." In addition to basic curriculum classes, students receive instruction in physical education, art, music and world languages. The school operates on a trimester system.
A K-4 intra-district school of choice, Highmeadow Common Campus is open to students through a lottery process. Established as a "lab school" in 1988, Highmeadow maintains an environment of innovation and creativity, and staff members continue to implement methods and strategies designed to best serve all students. The school has met standards for Annual Yearly Progress established by the federal No Child Left Behind Act and received an "A" composite grade on its State of Michigan report card.
In 2008-2009, Highmeadow Eco-Advocates and Campus Conservationalists worked hard to achieve Oakland County's Emerald Green award, and efforts to retain the school's "green" environment continue. Highmeadow also has a branch of LOC Federal Credit Union, which is operated by students under the supervision of an LOC Federal Credit Union employee. Students may open and maintain their own savings accounts, and the branch is open one day a week to faculty, staff and parents as well.
St. Paul's Lutheran School offers the option for a quality Christian education for students in kindergarten through the fourth grade. Older students in the fifth through eighth grades attend St. Paul's sister school, Hosanna Tabor, in Redford Township.
It is a small school, with each campus educating approximately 50 students, that focuses on individual attention and God-pleasing social values.

Power faculty, staff and community have established a mission to "provide a safe and caring environment, which allows students and staff to maximize individual growth as they make transitions in a changing world." The LOC Federal Credit Union at Power opened in 2010, operated by 6th grade students under the direction of an LOC Federal Credit Union employee. Students are able to open and manage their own personal savings accounts, and credit union services are also available to parents, faculty and staff one day per week.
