Tara Elementary students are trained to conduct themselves according to the "Tara Way," focusing on respect and responsibility. The school has a uniform policy and offers pre-K instruction.
Ida M. Stewart Elementary, named after a former Manatee County educator, was created in 1980 to address overcrowding at Palma Sola Elementary. Today the school hosts such fun activities as its Fall Festival, Sweetheart Dance and book exchange.

Braden River Middle students take part in such stimulating activities as a science fair, recycling contest with other area schools and various anti-drug events like "turn your back on drugs day," where they can wear their clothes backward. The school offers a YMCA before- and after-school care program and parents can sign up for a weekly e-newsletter for the latest info on school events. Braden River Middle's campus features a Veteran's Wall of Honor adorned with student creations.
SCF, formerly known as Manatee Community College, became a "state" college in 2009 and offered its first four-year workforce degree, a bachelor of science in nursing, in addition to its emphasis on two-year degrees. It changed its name to better reflect its place in the larger community of Manatee and Sarasota counties. The main campus is located in Bradenton, with branches in Lakewood Ranch and Venice. It also operates a collegiate charter school, where high school students can simultaneously work toward an Associate in Art degree. More than 36,000 total students attend annually.
SCF is guided by Dr. Lars A. Hafner, who took over in 2008 as the college's fifth president. The school boasts five varsity athletics programs - women's softball, tennis and volleyball; men's basketball and baseball - who are nicknamed the Manatees in a nod to its previous encarnation as Manatee Community College.
IMG Academy is a 450-acre, multi-sport athletic and educational facility in Bradenton, and attracts dedicated student athletes of all ages from all over the world. A variety of comprehensive training progams are offered, and IMG is dedicated to helping its students reach their full athletic abilities through vigorous and personalized training from expert instructors. Programs for football, lacrosse, golf, soccer, tennis, basketball and baseball are all available, as are overall training programs and camps. IMG Academy is a fully-accredited school with programs for students in pre-K through the twelfth grade, and also offers college placement services so students can continue their athletic endeavors.
ITS offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in interdenominational religious studies. The school offers a number of courses under the umbrellas of Bible Book Studies/Bible Related Studies and Counseling Studies. Most courses have a textbook and/or a study guide, and most upper-level courses also have lectures on accompanying audio cassettes.
Students are also eligible to attain certification in Restorative Therapy and Advanced Anger Management. In addition, ITS offers ministerial credentials and a mentoring program and works in conjunction with local churches to provide accredited Biblical training for their members.
The school is located in the rear of the Hughes Insurance Services building along 26th Street West.
West Bradenton Baptist describes itself as a multi-generational, Kingdom-focused church. It takes part in about six missionary trips a year. It has also launched two other Manatee County churches (The Bridge at Palma Sola and Woodland - The Community Church) and has opened a new satellite, North River Church, in Parrish. Pastor Allen James leads a vibrant community of about 1,500 church members who take part in youth and study groups and other ministries. There is a full gym on the church grounds.
