First Baptist Church Gilroy has been around since 1944. It belongs to the California Southern Baptist Convention and the Central Coast Baptist Association. This small mosque tucked above offices in downtown Livermore has served Muslim families since 1994. With a full-time imam, it offers the five daily prayers, Arabic and Islamic classes for children, study groups for women and interfaith and community initiatives. Religious-school classes are held on Sundays, rather than the traditional Islamic Fridays, in accord with the American work and school week.

Located just off Columbia Pike down Whispering Lane, John Calvin Presbyterian Church is a friendly, community-centric place of worship where the goal is to strengthen the values and spirit of their members through discussion, prayer and fellowship. The National Capital Presbytery created the church in 1959. It moved to its current location after the number of lanes on Columbia Pike was increased. Due to this change, there are now two entrances to the parking lot, both down Whispering Lane. The church holds Communion and family worship services on the first Sunday of every month.
Parishioners at Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church are led in worship by Pastor Dennis Beach and associate Pastor Ron Feltman. The church community prides itself on service to children through its youth, junior and senior high school ministries. The church is also home to the Elmhurst Children's Choir and Adult Christian Care, a day program for physically or cognitively impaired adults. Small groups meet regularly at Epiphany, including Families in Faith, the quilters, and clothing and toy resale committees, and mission groups have traveled to Africa and Mississippi.
Recently undergone renovation, Church of the Atonement is Presbyterian congregation with an active youth program. The main entrance is now in the back, away from Georgia Ave., and the main sanctuary has bright stained glass windows.

This congregation of the United Church of Christ (CCMI) strives to be a welcoming Christian community that supports the understanding of God and Jesus Christ through the rites of sacrament, prayer retreats and bible classes. The United Church of Christ also does not support a centralized church or doctrinal authority, illustrated by the lack of wooden pews inside the church sanctuary.
The church also supports several local and national service causes through a number of Global Ministries including the Atlantic Street Center, Family and Social Services, SafePlace and Treehouse.
The church's airy, circular sanctuary overlooks a wooded hillside and a small outdoor amphitheatre through large windows. There is also a small memorial garden and children's play structure nearby.
