St. Francis Episcopal Church is a small, wooden building set on Peckham Lane overlooking Old Flat River Road from a small hill. 

The church was founded in 1917 as Christ Church, but has since merged with the congregation of St. Matthias, taking its latest name. 

The church offers several  activities, including parish suppers, serving meals to the homeless at Epiphany in Providence, Sunday School, the Blessing of the Animals and Tie Dye Sunday. There is a coffee hour and adult education between services on Sunday, and Christian education for children pre-K though grade 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Members may choose to be active as worship leaders, ushers, acolytes, in the Altar Guild or Sewer's Guild. The church is led by The Reverend Sean Manchester.

Located in the heart of Wakefield, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi is the oldest Catholic Church in South Kingstown and commands a large, devoted congregation.  The church's summer chapel in Matunuck has taken on a life of its own and offers year-round services.

Aside from the church sanctuary itself, the campus of St. Francis of Assisi includes a large multipurpose hall in the rear and a rectory and offices on Winter Street.

Situated on the corner of Rockland and Rodman Streets, the St. Thomas More Church is the main worship facility for the St. Thomas More Parish. The church has daily service, and also offers Bible study, a knitting ministry, a monthly newsletter and other services for worshippers. Reconcilliation is available on Saturdays between 4pm and 4:45pm, or by appointment with the parish office. An additional facility, St. Veronica's Chapel, is also overseen by the St. Thomas More Parish, and services the Bonnet Shores community.

The Evangelical Friends Church (EFC) of Newport seeks to worship and serve its community by following the three S's: Sundays, Small Groups and Service. In this manner, core services and programs are offered through Sunday Worship, prayer groups and community outreach.

Small Groups: Home meetings, Bible Study groups and other church activities provide opportunities for church members to worship together and connect. Other activities include youth groups and pre-school activities.

Saints John and Paul Catholic Church rests at the corner of Tiogue Avenue and South Main Street in Coventry, in front of a bustling intersection. The Roman Catholic parish, which serves worshipers in West Warwick, Coventry and Exeter-West Greenwich, is one of the largest parishes in the Diocese of Providence. There are six clergy members: Rev. Paul R. Grenon, Rev. Joseph P. Henry, Pastor Emeritus, Deacon Robert J.C. Persson, Pastor Deacon Robert J.C. Persson, Rev. John J. Duggan, Rev. Eddy E. Lopez-Bolanos, assistant pastor and Rev. Founded by Rowland Hazard and his wife Margaret Anna Rood in 1857, the Peace Dale Congregational Church has grown with the village itself to an immense, open and diverse congregation.

The church's cornerstone was laid in 1870, and is listed in the National Register of Historic places. The building itself is a marvel of architecture with modern flair in its supporting rectory and offices.

Child care is available during services, and a variety of programs are available for members including middle school and high school youth group, Bible study, contemporary and traditional choirs, a bell choir, a youth chime choir and a cherub choir for young children.

After more than 13 years at Winman Junior High School in Warwick, Calvary Chapel found a place to call home in North Kingstown in November 2008. The non-denominational church aims to provide parishioners with a welcoming and relaxing environment. During its Sunday services, the church houses a full band to perform. Additionally, the church hosts food drives and a mechanics fellowship. Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow is led by Pastor Rich Chapman.

The Church of the Apostles is an evangelical Anglican church located on Fairview Avenue in Coventry and is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. The CCC is theologically conservative and believes in the autonomy of local churches. The denomination allows for differences among its member churches in some details of worship, though it is committed to basic Christian doctrine.

Founded in 1950, Christ the King Church serves thousands of families from South Kingstown and beyond. Located just off the URI campus, the church features a vibrant, active and involved congregation that works in partnership with the university. During the week the church's parking lot is used by commuting URI students, and on the weekend the church operates its Sunday schools at URI facilities.

The church also supports the Domestic Violence Resource Center and the Welcome House, offering material goods like home-made blankets and personnel to help cook in the soup kitchen.

Quidnick Baptist Church, located within the Coventry village of Quidnick, is located on Fairview Avenue, where passing motorists have long been treated to inspirational and sometimes quirky religious missives on the church signboard facing the street.

The church has an active membership, including a men's religious study group, a women's religious study group and, as reported in the Good News Today, a ministry providing support for men released from prison. The church runs several youth programs, including a Bible study, Habitat for Humanity, basketball and Sunday school.

The church is led by Pastor Joe Campbell, who has been with the parish for 15 years.

Led by Reverend Bertrand L. Theroux, St. Francis de Sales has been in North Kingstown since 1960. This is one of  two Catholic churches in town. Construction began on a new facility for the church in 2010 with an expected completion in 2011.
