Bethany Covenant Church, located off of Route 101, is a part of the Evangelical Covenant Church. It offers Sunday services, missions, ministries, choirs, Bible study and Lamb's Workshop, a Christian preschool and kindergarten.
Christ Episcopal Church is located on Lafayette Road and is an open and welcoming church. It is very involved in the community as evident in its large on-site preschool and its "Holy Roller Bus." The church also runs a food co-op, serves dinner at the Salvation Army once a month and collects for the food pantry.
The North Church of Portsmouth is at Market Square in historic downtown Portsmouth. The church itself is part of the history of Portsmouth. It was first built in 1712 and was rebuilt in 1837, making it one of the original structures in Portsmouth. There have been many famous historical Americans that have attended services there including, Gen. William Whipple, signer of the Declaration of Independence, John Langdon, signer of the U.S. Constitution, Daniel Webster, John Paul Jones, and President George Washington. It is in use today as a Congregational Church, and it has an auxiliary building on Spinney Road. The church still is in use and services are conducted at 10 a.m. Sundays.
Hampton United Methodist Church is a large church in downtown Hampton. The Rev. Dr. Steven Notis is the pastor. St. Joseph the Worker Parish occupies a spacious, modern church on the banks of the Nashua River, 1½ miles from the Everett Turnpike.
Most Rev. Francis J. Christian became pastor of St. Joseph in 2003. He also serves as auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Manchester.
In addition to regular services, activities include youth/teen/adult choirs, a Cub/Boy Scouts program, and religious education. A summer school will run for two weeks in August 2011. St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus branch is also active in the community.
Along with the Mission Church of St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Seabrook, Our Lady of The Miraculous Medal Parish has a combined parish of 1,400 hundred families. On the property is the Sacred Heart School which has an enrollment of more than 200 students. The pastor is Fr. Gary J. Kosmowski.

Immaculate Conception Parish is located conveniently off Exit 4 on NH Rt 3/Everett Turnpike. The Catholic church serves more than 3000 families in the area, making its congregation size nearly 14,000 people. The church has a hall in back for special events, and ample parking is available. The facility also acts as a local church, when needed, for nearby parochial schools. Immaculate Conception has an active music program, including adult and youth choirs as well as contemporary and teen music ministries.
Immaculate Heart of Mary welcomes all who are interested in participating in the Catholic liturgy and spiritual life. Church life includes education for youth and study opportunities for adults, and classes are available for those who wish to explore conversion. Granite State Baptist Church on Sand Hill Road is led by Pastor Anthony Milas. Worship services have two basics themes: creative and compelling worship and life changing messages. Community groups meet for fellowship, bible study and prayer. Youth groups are held each week, one for middle schoolers and another for high school ages. Infants thru fifth grade are encourage to attend the Ignite Chidren's Ministry.

Grace Lutheran Church was established in the early 1980s. Pastor Mick Meyer has been leading this congregation in worship and prayer since 1986.
