Located in the heart of Attleboro, All Saints' Episcopal Church was established in 1890 by Reverend George E. Osgood. Besides Sunday services, members of today's congregation participate in coffee hours, Bible studies and Lenten services. The church is active in the community, particularly through its support for the Attleboro Area Council of Churches.  For parishioners with young children, the church provides childcare for children three and under while parents attend the  Sunday service.

The First Baptist Church in Newton has a history dating back more than 200 years, when it first gathered in a building near its present site in Newton Centre. The congregation welcomes members from all walks of life into its sanctuary, which rests in a historical and impressive church built in 1888. The bell tower, complete with 11 chimes, was installed in 1899 and renamed the "America" bell tower in 1932 for the 100th anniversary of the writing of "America."

First Baptist Church in Newton was voted the second best place to hear live music in Newton in a poll conducted by Patch and is home to the Newton Philharmonia Orchestra and the Newton Cultural Alliance. Lead by Sr. Minister and professional musician Sean Witty, FBC also offers gatherings and education for kids, students and adults.

Located in Newton Centre, the entrance to the church's large parking lot is located off Centre Street.

Temple Beth Avodah is a congregation offering a traditional Jewish education, cultural awareness and communal involvement in temple life. While most of its members live in nearby Oak Hill, Newton Centre and South Brookline, many come from surrounding towns also attend the temple s functions, such as nursery school, religious school and summer day camp programs. Established more than 30 years ago, TBA publishes Kadima, a monthly newsletter that covers a range of topics, such as the youth community, sisterhood and brotherhood, adult education, B nai Mitzvah, social action and the temple life cycles. The temple also offers services that include adult education book club, sisterhood camp fair, artist in residence program, women s Kallah, interfaith dinner, Shabbat dinner and congregational meetings. More than forty years ago, a group of Greek immigrants created the Greek Evangelical Church of Boston to worship in their culture's language and tradition. Lead by Pastor Emmanouilidis Kostas, the congregation worships in the historic First Church of Newton, previously occupied by the First Congregational Church of Newton. The church offers services and Sunday school in both Greek and English. In addition to religious services, a Greek school also occupies part of the church on Saturday mornings. Children, teens and adults attend the school to learn the Greek language and culture. The Greek Evangelical Church of Boston is a half-mile walk from the Newton Center MBTA stop (green line, D branch). The #52 MBTA bus also stops nearby at the intersection of Centre Street and Gibbs Street.

Dedicated to the ministry of 18th-century missionary John Wesley, parishioners of the Calvary Church proudly "welcome and celebrate diversity, including diversity in age, economic status, ethnicity, family status, gender, physical abilities, sexual orientation and race," according to the church's Web site.

Originally built in the 1920's with a belfry designed in the early years of the 19th century, the Calvary Church was placed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 1994, it merged with the Arlington Heights Church and was renamed Calvary Church, United Methodist.

Services, led by the Rev. Christine Elliott, are held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the summer and 10:30 a.m. in the winter. The church offers Sunday school, Junior Church and daycare for children younger than 3.

South Shore Baptist Church began as a Bible study group and grew until the members decided to make it a proper church and relocated to its current location in 1958. The congregation is friendly and encourages new faces and visitors to join Sunday services. The church has childcare available for youngsters through pre-school age. Children in kindergarten and 1st grade can attend children's church during Sunday service. There is also adult, youth, and children's Sunday school from 9:45-10:45 am. Elmwood Chapel, formerly Wellesley Baptist Church, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2000. The church is 60 years old. The chapel's pastor, Kevin B. Crispell, is a former high school English and drama teacher. The chapel is located on a quiet, residential street and also runs Elmwood Chapel Preschool, which is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). According to the church Web site, "In our seeking for a vision for this local body of Jesus Christ, as elders we believe that God focused our attention to be a church for people who have given up on church." Ruach Israel is a Messianic Jewish synagogue that conducts regular Shabbat Morning Services and Friday Shacharit Services. This group is heavily involved with helping various causes, including working with Hannah's Hope, Heifer International and most recently sending relief to Haiti. A host of groups meet regularly at Ruach Israel, which is housed within the Greendale Avenue Worship Center. The Ruach Israel Shabbat School provides on-site children's education for ages 3 and up.
