Established in 1998, Rays of Sonshine provides treatment for patients suffering from substance abuse. Located in Monroe, La., the center offers an array of treatments, such as roll play, individual counseling, relapse prevention, time management, physical education, nutrition and house management. Additionally, it provides adult education, character development, empowerment group, recovery support groups, case management as well as service skills training, community service involvement and banking service, to name a few. Rays of Sonshine also features special services, including Ladies Residence and Moms with Children Home.
