The Catholic Youth Organization operates St. Vincent's School for Boys, a multi-service agency serving children and families in the North Bay Area. There are three divisions, including: a residential treatment center for boys in San Rafael, a foster family agency with families in several counties, and two group homes in San Francisco serving adolescent girls and boys on probation. St. Vincent's School is a long-term treatment center with 40 beds for boys ages 7 to 19 who come from 30 different California counties.
First Presbyterian Church, located in downtown Redlands along Cajon Street, is a large church that includes a school behind it. The sanctuary is massive, with plenty of room for its members and guests. Services are at 9:30am on Sundays in the main building of the church, which was established in 1969. The church works with children and adults to educate about God and the Bible through study programs and youth initiatives. It also has several events each month within the church and throughout the city. Parking is free in a large lot behind the building, and new, interested parties are welcome to attend any services of the church and stick around after to speak with the pastor.
The Bay Area Youth Vaishnav Parivar is a Hindu organization. The word 'Vaishnava' literally means one who worships Vishnu (the god Krishna) out of pure love. The two storied temple has a kitchen, a dining area and a hall that can be rented for religious, cultural, marriage and birthday parties. The organization offers computer classes for seniors. For youth, it offers music, dance and SAT preparation classes.
The Presbyterian Church of Novato dates to 1896 and can take credit for Novato's most recognized building, the former church at 901 Sherman Avenue that has been Novato City Hall since 1962. A year later, PCN held its first service at Trevitt Hall, the current home of the church on Wilson Avenue, about two miles west of the downtown area. The sanctuary where services are held today was constructed in 1977.
There are more than 400 members of PCN, where the Rev. Kent Webber has presided for 15 years. There are Sunday school programs for kids and teens as well as many outreach and study programs.
Carmichael Presbyterian Church offers both traditional and contemporary worship services every Sunday as well as a Christian Education class. Other ways to get involved include various children's ministries, music programs, adult ministries, fellowship groups and Bible study groups.

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church has a more than 50-year history in Livermore. The church's community is about 120 families led by Rev. Joyce Parry Moore. It offers worship services, ministries, sermons, youth and music programs.
The Culver City Presbyterian Church is nearly 100 years old, originally founded in 1913, and occupying its present location since 1951. Sunday services are offered at 10:30am, along with Sunday school, and many other programs throughout the week. Programs include choir, women's study group, men's study group, youth group, 20s/30s group, Culver West Convalescent Home Outreach and missionary work. Services in Portuguese are held Sundays at 6pm.

St. Monica's Catholic Church originated in Santa Monica as a small parish church in 1886, and has grown to be one of the largest–and most active–faith communities in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Willow Spring Church is an evangelical, non-denominational congregation located on quiet School Street on Moraga's south side. The busy congregation gets together frequently for Bible study programs, social gatherings and youth events. BLAST!, a kid's club event takes place every Friday. Following the tenets of the Free Evangelical Church, the BCSM doesn't consider itself a "morality modifier," just a strict follower of the Bible. The large structure has been at this corner for 90 years. From 1918-1920, the congregations were held in a local pool hall. Sunday School is held weekly, and parents interested in a full religious education can send their children to the next-door Bethany Church School.
Holy Spirit Catholic Church is a reiligious santuary that serves a diverse community of individuals of the Catholic faith. Founded in 1886, the church is considered a historical landmark, according to the church's website.
The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection offers three worship services every week. It offers numerous special programs for church members, including Bible study, scripture workshop and yoga classes. It also runs the Peter Pan Preschool for small children, as well as the Loaves and Fishes program, which helps to prepare hot meals for homeless people throughout Contra Costa County. Shorelife Community Church was founded in 1998 as a place where Capitola residents could come to worship and participate in the local community. The church offers services, missions and events such as the yearly Children's Choir Christmas Service and Dinner. Daniel Clubb is the church's pastor.
