Congregation Shaarey Tikvah is located minutes from interstate 271 in Beachwood. It was founded in 1940 in Cleveland, services have been held a the current building since 1986 and it was renovated in 2003. Congregation Shaarey Tikvah offers a wide variety of social activities for members of all ages. It has auxilliaries that provide social, educational, and religious programming as well as financial support.
Located at 44 Highland Road, the Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park holds traditional and contemporary worship events and sermons. Traditional worship is held twice on Sunday morning and, in addition to the sermon, includes choir music by the congregation. Casual worship is held Saturday evenings and includes choirs and personal prayer requests. The church holds Communion during casual worship and also on Sunday mornings in Peelor Chapel.
Wednesday services are also offered. Nursery care is available during all services. The church is home to the Prime Time Adult Day Care, which provides adult day care services to the eldely and adults in need. The church has a children's care center that is licensed by the state and offers drop-in and day care programs.
The Pulse, a ministry for young adults held every Sunday night at the library, is open to young men and women in their 20s and 30s.
First Baptist is located right in the heart of Waukesha, just across the street from the library. The church offers many programs and groups for all age groups, including a kindergarten. There are also services in Spanish. Jim Carlson is the current pastor.
Congregation Shalom began with just 14 families, but today services more than 1,000 members. This temple focuses on modern Judaism and offers many different classes, groups and activities.
Congregation Shalom also graciously accepts food donations for the Hunger Task Force and the Jewish Food Pantry.
