The Dorothy Hart Community Center houses the administrative offices of the Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Public Facilities department. The Community Center has several classrooms for rent. Desk staff are on hand to handle questions on facility and field rental. The Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Department offers a diverse range of activities for the public to enjoy.
Annandale Boys & Girls Club is a second-generation family-run organization. In 1959 Everett G. Germaine Jr. established the club to promote youth sports in the community. Having long been a pillar for the youth in the community, it is the oldest club in the D.C. Metropolitan area. It is a wholesome forum for the youth. This location, in the heart of Annandale, is easily accessible. It is where uniforms are picked up.The club uses local fields and centers for its activities. Some games against other Northern Virgina teams require travel.
Sports Network and Fitness is a temperature control indoor sports arena. It is located conveniently off of Liberia Ave. just minutes from Route 28. They have two courts including synthetic grass and a hard court ideal for playing indoor soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, flag football and lots more.
The Bragg Hill Family Life Center is a community haven for "at-risk" youth, located three blocks off Fall Hill Avenue. The center offers an after-school educational program, summer camp and various athletic activities for Bragg Hill residents. The BHFLC also offers ESL classes and senior craft classes for adults.
The Spring Hill Recreation Center is McLean's popular community-wide swimming pool, fitness center, kiddie camp, martial and arts and yoga center. It has just undergone a $1 million renovation that included a new heating and air conditioning system. The centerpiece of Spring Hill is a heated indoor 25-yard by 25-meter swimming pool and two one-meter diving boards. The center now has softer surfaces for the exercise class rooms and new equipment in the weight and aerobics room.
