Established in 1999, The Claremore Super Recreation Center is owned by the city of Claremore and operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. It is a more than 70,000-square-foot facility that features aerobics and weight rooms, as well as racquetball, indoor tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. The center also has life fitness and hammer strength equipment. The Claremore Super Recreation Center provides swimming team, day camp and various community-based programs. In addition, it organizes birthday parties and events. The center has a staff of more than 50 part-time and over three full-time individuals.
