I think back on the road traveled to get to where I am and the people who have come into my life. I was a bratty teen who was against selling homes like my mother. Nope. Not me. Never. Ahhh.....but selling homes isn’t “sales” as one might think. After many personal real estate transactions, I was advised to get my own license and, though I was new, my career as a REALTOR unintentionally grew out of my desire to assist those who knew me, asked for my help, and trusted me. Being a REALTOR is about providing a knowledge based service, professional resources, expertise, and, most importantly, the passion to assist individuals, families, and professionals. I cannot imagine a career in real estate without the ability to relate with those who trust me with their real estate needs. I have truly been touched by the stories of the individuals and families I have assisted through out the last 15 years. Many stories arise from exciting moves, job relocation, new marriage, and growing families. Other stories come from the broken-hearted as a result of divorce, loss of a job, or loss of a loved one, all of which have touched me personally. I have witnessed the single mom purchase the home she never dreamed she would own. I have assisted the daughter who wanted to live next to her mother after the passing of her father. I have counseled and successfully fought for the divorcing couple who wanted to avoid a Short Sale and Foreclosure. I have moved people to another state, and assisted them when they chose to return (to beautiful Northwest Arkansas!). I have been blessed to move young couples into larger homes to accommodate their growing families, and honored to help the empty- nester settle into a home much easier to keep up with! I have assisted the family who wants to create an investment portfolio and the investor who enjoys projects, therefore “flipping” homes. Our hero groups, including military service men and women, teachers, nurses, police officers, and firemen, hold a special place in my heart. So truly, I am the one that is blessed and touched by all those who trusted me with their real estate needs. Their stories are forever imprinted on my heart. Their stories have changed me, making me a better and stronger person. Passionate about people and the real estate industry, I am actively involved in our local board association, our state association and our national association and I am honored to give back and serve in this capacity.
