Pleasantville Hill Nursery School is located at the Emanuel Lutheran Church. The nursery school staggers its hours, so that two-year-olds attend for 2.5 hours either two or three days a week; three-year-olds can attend either four mornings a week or three afternoons a week; and four-year-olds can either attend four-hour sessions five mornings a week or four two-hour afternoon sessions.

Its philosophy can be summed up by the saying on the bulletin board in the hallway, which is decorated with children's artwork: "All students are gifted. Some just open their packages earlier than others."
